RealtyCom Partners field engineer Josh Hartman, brought us along for one of his recent inspections at The Three Collective, located in Falls Church, Virginia.

Developed by The Wolff Company, The Three Collective is comprised of 675 apartment homes in three high-rise buildings, and is designed to enhance the creativity and productivity of its residents through its holistic lifestyle ecosystem.

As a field engineer for our team, most of Josh’s day-to-day responsibilities consist of coordinating with providers to ensure low voltage installation is on track, conducting milestone visits, generating site visit reports, and assisting clients in the design process to address any low voltage needs or concerns.

During his site visits, Josh’s primary goal is to review and verify low voltage design by ensuring the correct cable types are in place, verifying the placement of outlets/equipment, ensuring telecom closets are prepared for service providers, and making recommendations that could enhance the design.

Josh and our other field engineers also check cables and plan compliance in amenity spaces, common areas, and individual units in addition to reviewing IDF closets (or AV Rooms) and TV and fitness equipment locations.

The Three Collective will feature several experiential spaces for residents, including an arcade, VR studio, and recording studio, which all require future-proofed and reliable connectivity.

Our team’s diligent inspections during site visits help ensure that the telecom systems put in place are optimized for amenities like these. This allows our clients to focus on developing quality communities while we double-check the details that enable residents to work, live, and play, and stream throughout the community.

Site visits conducted by our construction team are just one of the ways that RealtyCom Partners goes above, around, and beyond for the clients we serve.
