Her main focus is to process revenue share payments to ensure Clients receive their payments in a timely manner. She works closely with the service providers, reviews monthly/quarterly reports and increases revenue by finding errors in calculations along with assisting with the collection of missing payments.

Resident Choice vs. Ongoing Revenue – When You Should Consider an Overbuild

Recently I had a great conversation with a client who is faced with a tough decision – allow another Service Provider to build to her property and go through a major construction project on-site or continue allowing the same single Service Provider to serve and therefore earn above-market revenue.

We often help our clients navigate these types of decisions. Revenue is obviously important, but more important is our Clients ability to rent apartments and to offer enhances resident services. Lack of available Internet and TV options could diminish the ability to attract and retain residents.

So, when a client can’t have both choice and revenue – I personally land firmly on the side of choice. Providing a choice to residents ensures your property stays technologically competitive with newer buildings, and that pricing for residents remains competitive. In addition, risk to an Owner is mitigated if one of the Service Providers is not delivering optimal services or isn’t able to upgrade their facilities and stay competitive.

5 Ways to Work with RealtyCom to Boost Revenue Stream

Have you ever thought, is there any “low hanging fruit” that can potentially add income to my bottom line at a property?

Our clients often come to us inquiring what they can do to boost their telecom revenue.  This is an area that RealtyCom loves to assist with as it’s a win-win for both our Clients and the Service Providers!

Below are some ideas, but this should not limit your creativity to come up with more – we’re always happy to work with your teams and the Service Providers to create a marketing plan or facilitate in any way.  If you do not have a local Service Provider representative, RealtyCom can assist in making an introduction.

  1. Ensure all move-in materials include information on the Service Provider(s) you have selected to be able to market their products. Including Internet speed that can be delivered to your property is helpful.  This could be a brochure from the Provider, a utility sign-up page or via your property portal/website in advance of move-in.  Often, there are discounts for new residents so it’s beneficial to remind your residents to “ask about move-in specials”.
